My Bramble spritz is a perfect summery twist made with Belgian bramble vermouth and lots of bubbles.
As you may know I am not a fan of oranges ( memories of an unfortunate childhood night spent throwing up an entire orange I ate including the peel), and brambles or blackberries are in season right now and I love their delicate balance between sweet and sour.
My bramble spritz
Yield 1 cocktail
- 2-3 blackberries fresh
- 2-3 blackberries frozen
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 glass of ice
- 1 glass of champagne
- 1 tablespoon bramble vermouth
- Fill the glass with ice, add the vermouth and top with the champagne.
- Add some frozen and fresh berries.
- Spike the fresh berries on the rosemary sprig and use as garnish.
