Cacao and Dates Candy Bars and Nutty Energy Bursts
Ingredients
For the Cacao and Dates Candy Bar:
- 50 gr hazelnuts
- 50 gr pistachios
- 100 gr pitted dates
- 185 ml melted coconut oil
- 35 gr cacao powder
- 75 gr granola
- 35 gr dried apricots, diced
For the Nutty Energy Bursts:
- 200 gr mixture of nuts such as hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds
- 200 gr pitted dates
- 50 gr mixture of dried fruits such as apricot, cranberry, raisins
- 40 gr chia seeds
- pinch of salt
Instructions
For the Cacao and Dates Candy Bar:
- Add to your food processor the dates, melted coconut oil and cacao powder. Blend until smoothish. Transfer to a bowl.
- Add the granola, apricots and nuts and mix well.
- Spread the mixture into a baking tin (sheet pan) lined with parchment paper and pop into the freezer to set. When set cut in bars. Store in the fridge.
For the Nutty Energy Bursts:
- Add to your food processor the dates, seeds, fruit and nuts and just blend.
- Remove the mixture and spread into a baking tin lined with parchment paper and pop into freezer to set. When set cut in little squares or any shape you like. Store in fridge.
